Re: (ET) ET Battery Carrier

I put new Trojans in and they have a built in "hook" for a battery strap. The dealer was kind enough to "give" me a "free" strap (after buying 6 batteries!) This lifts just from the case, no chance to slip, no load on the posts.

I've used the strap type that grabs onto the posts to move dead batteries,
and the "vice-Grip"-like clamp that grabs onto the sides of the batteries to
move batteries I'd like to keep.  I expect the strap type will break the post
seals...

I've seen a 'custom' "Vice-Grip" made to lift batteries clamping on the sides, but don't trust that either.

I've seen lots of NON-Golf-Cart batteries with strap provision built in the top and a strap, but haven't seen them in Golf-Cart batteries.

Does anyone have a good idea for a battery carrier? I have the strap that bites on to the posts, but I don't trust it anymore. Actually, I'm getting too old (71) to lug them around with the strap, so I need something easier.
