(ET) Soem help and chiming in

Hi
I am chiming in as well. I am in Grimbsy Ontario Canada. That's about 30
minutes from Niagara Falls. I am not really very web savvy but I'll take a
crack at compiling the registry. (don't sent the information yet I'll ask)

And I have a question about my E10 Basically it won't go. However, the
motor work if I jump the post on the main coil.

I've followed the trouble shooting diagram from the service manual and
narrowed it down to the safety interlock ckts.(seat switch, clutch switch,
key switcg and the L coil and contactor. In fact I think the problem is
right inside the motor but my manual doesn't have the motor diagrams and I
can make out the part on the web site picture.
The part is at the end that has the brushes, there are two push on contacts
on the outside end that holds the brushes, a wire from the seat switch go
to one and a wire from the the clutch switch to the other one.

Inside there is a short wire connecting to a black disk with two
connections on the top. A wire is connect to one terminal and a flat brass
bar is connected to the other terminal of the black disk and then connect
to
the other push on terminal.

The little black disk is labeled STEMCO B2 430-798 L260 what is the part?
Should this be open when tested with an OHM meter.
