    I was fascinated by your recent battery care info but need a few 
definitions
of things that went over my head:
        What is "tapping the pack"?
        How do you "equalize"?
        What is "gassing"?
        Are VRR batteries something some of us may be using?

    During our school days, these questions put to a teacher would have 
gotten
the response "look it up". I hope you make it easy for me and give me the
answers.
