(ET) Some Break Help. . .

Now I am almost in the home stretch, and I am having some trouble with the 
breaks.  I have just about everything on the tractor, except the wheels 
and 
the break assembly.  I can't seem to get it on the transaxle, and the 
manual 
in this area is not very helpful.  Do I have to have the transaxle off to 
put 
it on???  I have the caliper assm.  2 long metal barrels, 2 long bolts and 
one washer, but I really dont know how to get it on there!  Should I have 
2 
washers? The book only shows one on one of the bolts.  Any guidance would 
be 
really appreciated, and I am looking forward to getting this thing 
together.
