Re: (ET) et question on mowing distance

Add extra batteries in a weight box?

Use a solar panel canopy?

Mimimize use of the speeds with resistors?

Don't wait until the grass is long, loading the mower deck motors more?
If the grass is long, make two passes, one with the deck raised via the
lift
or physical adjustments (rear bar and front castors), and one with the deck
lowered after a recharge.

Decreasing rolling resistance with more air pressure in the tires?

Fewer turns, thus staying more steady state speed/current? (don't do a lot
of stopping
and starting and jogging around to trim out the path nicely, just make
smooth passes).

Bring along a beer or two while the batteries 'self regenerate'? :-)

I like the canopy idea the best, because then you're shaded while
mowing....
