Steve and Larry;

The only problem I have run into is;
If I don't lower the strap sufficiently, the back end of the mower will 
lift
up when going over the top of a hill. 
Enough slack in the strap allows the side support arms to swivel and leave
the mower deck level to the ground.

Ah, good point. I always run it down pretty far - that would probably help.
I figure it must be something as I haven't seen many posts on this problem,
but it's a real eye-opener when it happens!
