If it was me, I'd insulate the "loose cables", especailly the ones with
little wires coming off ( the 12 and 18 volt taps. An inadvertant short
could get your attention !
The power indicator shunt is a 20" length of #6 AWG wire, the 20" is
center of hole in connector to center of hole in connector and is
critical for accurate reading. Also, as previously mentioned make sure
connections are clean.
