Re: (ET) elec traks on ebay....



The problem with this is that your Elec-Trak frame is now probably grounded
through the big metal rod via the horn. Most auto accessories are "negative
ground" which means the frame of the item is tied to the negative terminal.
Thus only one wire typically needs to be run to the device.

On an E20, the frame is always considered "electrically neutral". Thus when
you are working on the batteries and touch a post to the frame, there is no
sparks.

Personally I have kicked around the thought of installing a GFCI on the 
E20;
haven't quite gotten around to it yet.
