Just remember - don't touch it and don't burn it - even if its dead!! The
"poison" is in an oil on the plant. I had a relative spend an agonizing
stay in the hospital for breathing smoke from poison ivy burned in a leaf
fire.
For skin rashes, try "Technu" brand soap and dryer. Available at drug
stores. It really does work well on poison ivy.

Andy, they have a specific for "broadleafs' but I'd use "Roundup"
generic weedkiller, guaranteed to work in about a week or less. It will
take out everything the spray touches thought.
On the ditch, I'd put a little extra on top, then roll it with a tractor
wheel and fill in any sinks.
