I have a good set of battery bags (obtained from Bill), but don't need
them
right now because I'm running gel batteries in the ET.
FYI, I don't really recommend gel batteries in this application because of
the cost and the necessity for special charging (the ET charger can't be
used). The capacity is lower, too. But I had them sitting around, so it
made sense. And they are still working well for me, about 4 years on.
I'm using six East Penn 8G24 in series-parallel for 36 volts. I run the
lift tap at 24 volts and the light tap at 12. No problems with it so far.
