I asked the seller a few questions, here are his answers....
something doesn't sound right about removal of the serial numbers.
  here is the emails.....
I sell a lot of closeouts for Textron Distributors around the country, 
these
units were from a Textron Distributor that shut down.  This 
de-serialization
is a common practice when items are liquidated.  I will sell this item to
the highest bidder no reserve.

Nice mower, but BIN for $12,995???  I know this is pro stuff, but yikes!  
You can pick up a GE/Avco ER36 rider for a ~lot~ less.  

OK, it's not really zero turn radius, but it still turns on a dime.

OK, it won't be brand new in the factory box.

OK, it has a belly mower only.

But we're talking maybe 1% or 2% of that price for one in nice shape.  If 
you can find one, of course ...
