The 4 KW solar electric system I utilize at my house supplies about half
of my electricity needs including charging my E-20. However, it is a
grid tied system that float charges a 48 volt group of batteries and then
inverts the power to grid AC. Thus, I am not direct charging my 36 volt
E-20, but rather going from DC to AC and back to DC again (sound
wasteful).
I do have a 36 volt charge controller that I eventually plan to use to
direct charge my E-20 from a smaller set of PV panels and will update the
list when complete.
