I don't know if any were shipped, but Bill Gunn once told me 'nearly all'
were single stage. At least some prototypes must have been made. I think
there were significant variations on the single stage as well. That all
came up when I asked for 'Snow-Blower' parts. He asked for my S/N and
told me I had a 'Snow-Thrower', and said he would have been surprised if I
had a 'Snow-Blower' as nearly all were the single stage thrower. I don't
know what the blower looked like. It must have used a second motor on the
discharge chute. It must have been EVEN HEAVIER!

Larry,
Were any two stage snow blowers ever offered, shipped, or otherwise
available? I've never seen any GE literature showing a two stage
snowblower
for the GE or variants.

single-stage snow-THROWERS. I don't think many dual-stage snow-BLOWERS
were
shipped. Nor do I know if all were wired the same, or used a motor that
could easily be 'braked'.
