No, it is not temp compensated. Also it is not coated. If you mount it inside the chassis, the environment should be no problem (apart from mice). I didn't put in temp compensation because it would be one more complication. It sounds good in theory, but in real life the value seems marginal.

Is the setpoint temperature compensated?  Here in MN the temp
ranges from -30*F to +100*F when I would have it plugged in
on/after charge.

The board doesn't appear to be conformally coated, or otherwise
protected against moisture, acid mist, etc.  Or is it?

My E16's charging unit just failed, probably the timer from where
the 'flash' seemed to come from, so I'm a potential customer.
