Re: (ET) Grass Cutting Season

Daniel and others,

I bought a powered grass clippings catcher from Bill Gunn several years ago that was supplied by GE.  It consisted of a 36 VDC centrifugal sucker/blower mounting in back of the tractor on a frame that also supported a fabric collector bag.  You also had to convert the rear discharge deck to a side discharge deck.  A hose ran from the mower deck to the blower at the rear of the tractor.  This assembly when full of clippings was heavy enough that GE supplied the frame with swivelling casters.  GE also offered a grass clipping blower that mounted on a cart, but with a front mounted mower it made for a really long tractor.  I only use mine for sucking up leaves in the fall, but here in Delaware I find that side discharge works better than rear discharge even when not collection clippings.

Hi all, related question. I have an E-15 and was
wondering if they ever were setup with a bagger system
to catch grass from mowing? Thanks, Dan Eyk
