With a zero radius, won't a mid-mount track wrong on the corners -
centered on the pivot point rather than tangent.
Look at the "disc & roller" drive like on some mowers, use on on each
wheel, then you can get by with one drive motor.
Sounds like fun, me, I'm refurbishing an old 36 volt golf cart - got the
electrics working, now need to rebuild the brakes.
