If I remember right, the "mil-spec" standard load was 100 amps. Way
back in early alternator days, we used a bank of auto headlights for
load banks, that's still a cheap way to set up a "load" if you need
one. I wonder, has anyone nad experience with the "Motorola"
transistorized battery tester they used to market, sears sold a whole
bunch. They sensed internal impedance to determine condition, I know
they sold a lot of batteries for Sears.
