A local club member, Eric Klatt (BE7575 aol com), converted a Motobecane
scooter using an ET motor. He is currently getting 50mph tops and 50mi
range at 35mph using 3 group 27 'deep-cycle' batts. Gear it so 50mph=6k
rpm
so there is reasonable acceleration from a stand-still. See it at:
