(ET) Exide batteries

On the query about Exide batteries in ET's, I've been using Exide RC (?) 
for
the last two sets, don't know the rating of LC's.  The first set gave me 11
years, the current set is 4 years old and shows no sign of degradation.  I
usually overcharge slightly under normal use and then "balance" with a 12
volt adjustable charger occasionally.  This mostly because of the 18 volt
lift drain on 3.  Gotta come up with a way to change that hookup.
