I put out to the list a long time ago that I was
running my ET on a PWM controller and did not get
any response to it at that time.
My ET has a shunt motor on it, to get the max. run
time out of the battery for this type of motor you
need a controller that has two PWM's in it.
One for the armiture and one on the field.
You turn the field on 100% and then ramp up the
armiture to 100% at that point you decease the field
PWM to increase the RPM of the motor till the armiture
current drips. This is all done by a microcontroller.
I use two 200Amp. FET's to do this
Thank You
