(ET) Gel cell batteries

Has anyone else put Gel Cells into the ElecTrak? I was tempted last week at
the battery shop. The had Gel Cells replacements for the T105's Same size,
less amp hours and twice the price of the wet cells that I ended up
purchasing. My last set of flooded cell batteries only lasted three years.
The Gel cells would only make economic sense if they lasted over six years
(or you got them for next to nothing). I need 60 to 80 amps to mow my yard
so a good 220 amp hour battery works very well for me.
