(ET) mulching?

Now that the mowing season is upon us....

Has anyone found or tried mulching blades on a large-frame electric?  I 
have been 
tempted to try and find appropriate blades, but they are fairly expensive, 
and I'm not 
sure the ET has enough blade speed to mulch.  Most mulching blades have a 
second 
cutting surface perhaps 3/8" higher than the first, displaced toward the 
middle of the 
blade.  It essentially doubles how much cutting the mower has to do.  So, 
back to 
the question, did GE, Wheel Horse or New Idea ever sell mulching blades, 
or has 
anyone either located or preferable tried such blades on an ET?
