Yes, please move the refrigerator and other Arctic Antic to some other
forum.

Breakage of the welded joint on the top back corners of the rear cover:
This seems to be a highly loaded juncture when the cover is up since 
the weight of the seat pulls the assembly backward with a bit of force.
I am welding the joints with fill metal rather than attempting a sort
of spot weld.  If you have had this problem, how have you solved it?
This plagued and inquiring mind wants to know.

I drilled (4) clearance holes for #6-32 screws, and used screws and nuts 
through 
the hinge.  I have seen pop-rivits used as well.  Watch the screw length 
carefully.
