That's very interesting, and I will definitely try and get my existing ones working, the thought behind a manual lift is to be able to set different heights without adjusting the rear rollers.  Also my plan is to switch out the GE deck for a little more modern twin blade deck.

On my Electric Ox, the Linac is connected with circuit breakers that
trip when you reach the ends of the travel range.  These are the little
circuit breakers that go in an automotive-style fuseholder.  It seems to
work well.
