The all-steel collection cart on the Noggler has a lot of steel mesh on the top and a deflector to keep blowing dust away from the tractor. I doubt you are getting the full suction force of the blower with a filter bag, honestly. You need a way to let massive volumes of air get out, it is far more powerful than my Craftsman bin arrangement was. I know from unfortunate experience that too much back pressure quickly wears out furnace blowers; I don't know if our DC blower motors have the same vulnerability.

On the I-5, the factory Anderson connector set is wired to the PTO relay. When I turn on the mower, it goes live, which is what I want. There was a kit to retrofit the same connection to an E20, I think Geo's site has the wiring and installation manual? If you only want to use one tool, just unplug the other :) .

--Charlie

On Sun, Sep 1, 2019, 4:17 PM Chris Zach <cz@alembic.crystel.com> wrote:

Some more thoughts on the vacuum:
Works great picking things up, I need some sort of snout to attach to
the end of the 6 inch hose so I don't tear up the hose end. Hm.

Big problem with the bag: while the bag is tough, when I was picking up
general debris including dirt I managed to pick up some small rocks that
blew through and punched small holes in the bag. It is rip-stop nylon
but I might need some sort of metal shield on the end of the blower
discharge chute to limit damage. Meantime I'll try to stick to organic
materials.

Longer term idea may be to build a bracket that would allow me to mount
the two trash cans and the bagger lid from my Craftsman tractor set
behind the unit. That could take rocks and such (with lower capacity but
I wouldn't use it for things like leaves.

Hm....
