As RJ noted, David Plamondon posted in November 2018 of his intent to shut that site down the first of January this year given the lack of users. There is a good chance that once he allowed the domain name to expire it was immediately snarfed up by a "squatter".I'll try and get hold of Don Barry later this week and find out what is up with his site which has the more extensive archives. I'm not sure how much "our numbers are down" and how much we are just much more spread out now... it went from just this e-mail list (started in 1998 or maybe earlier) to one then multiple dedicated web forums, then Facebook, plus general garden tractor forums with sub-sections on electrics and more.
