<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">I've been looking at replacement deck motors.</p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">I have used the Black and Decker 36v drives and they are still running (2yr - 1acre).</p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">Another deck has tall motors and the terminal insulation is failing.  I could switch a couple out with HD fat drives but would like to try newer drives.</p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0"><br>

<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">It seems the TORO 20" model #20360 uses the Ametek CPM-160.  About 970watts. </p>
<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">Motor + Fan + base+ blade,washer,nut = $245.87 from E Replacement.</p>

 engine.  I'm sure those guys have some pretty good ideas on which glues hold PM's in place.

Well, had the usual deck motor failure. This seems to happen every other <br clear="none">

Any idea why this happens? The inside of the motor was dry, no problems, <br clear="none">
plenty of brush. It's as if the laminates just decide to fail and burn <br clear="none">
everything up.<br clear="none">

Now to buy some more motors, my supply is low. This never happens to fat <br clear="none">
motors, they just have the magnets deglue and shatter all along the <br clear="none">
inside. Once again no reason, is there a glue that will hold them?<br clear="none">
