Scam alert!

To Advent Parishioners, from Fr Welch Scammers pretending to be Advent clergy are contacting parishioners with requests for donations. If you get a text or email from one of the clergy at Advent, or from another Advent parishioner, please check with the parish office for verification. If you've been scammed and have given money, coupons, etc., please report it to the Boston Police Department.  Sorry about this but it is a pertinent reminder here at the end of Lent that we live in a beautiful but fallen world.      -- Fr Truman Welch
