Ropes at Old North

Hi! I finally pulled out the box of older ropes sitting upstairs and went 
through them all. These are the ropes with the red, white, and blue 
sallies, with the natural tops. I looked at all of them, and given that we 
have a complete set of spare ropes already, none of the old ropes looked 
worth keeping (to me) — most of them have oddities above the sally, some 
very weak spots; the only one that looked good was too short by far.

I looked at the area below the sallies, and took off the ends that seemed 
potential for splicing.

If no one has any objections, I would like to get rid of these ropes.

(In fact, there is a slightly ulterior motive for finally looking at them, 
although I have planned to do this for a while, in that the play I’m 
working on may have a use for them; I did not let this affect how I 
evaluated the ropes though, just that it caused me to actually pull them 
down.)

(Also, if you want to keep a sally, please feel free.)

Please let me know if you have any reason for us to keep them.
