Hi everyone,
If you are planning on going to the Orleans area meeting Saturday June 9, let me know the following:
a) if you can offer or are in need of a carpool (and how many seats)
b) your Boston location (or where you might be willing to pick people up/be picked up)
c) your feelings about going early and visiting the beach in the AM (ringing starts in the afternoon)
Sarah has kindly offered that she and Tom have some spare beds at their home on the Cape (in Eastham) for anyone looking to make a weekend trip instead of just a day trip (that could probably include service ringing Sunday morning?)
In any case, the beach by their place might be convenient in terms of having access to a fridge, bathrooms, and a place to change.
I can send more details as soon as I hear back from people.
It's always great to visit other towers and meet fellow ringers, and Orleans have a very beautiful ground-floor ring of 10: I highly recommend going, especially to first-timers and those on the fence.
