Hi All,

Please could you forward the below email to all you think may be interested in your area - or even beyond! We are hoping to receive entries from as many US bands as possible, and possibly even one from the UK!

The Trinity Ringers first, and hopefully annual, 8-bell striking competition will take place at 3pm on Saturday, December 9th. The competition will be open to all local and visiting ringers, and if anyone interested could please sign up before October 15 this will give us the opportunity to form the teams and allow them some time for practice. The test piece will be a pre-determined touch of Plain Bob Triples.

For visiting ringers, please use the following sign up link and fill out the online form, or if you have a Trinity website login, please sign up via the attendance page. If the links in this email are broken for any reason, the sign up page can also be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/B2NWDVZ

Judging will be conducted by a visiting ringer and elder statesmen of the US ringing scene, and the winning team will receive the soon to be coveted ‘Trinity Shield’, a floating trophy to advertise the winning team’s outstanding achievement for posterity. Prize giving will take place on Saturday evening at a dinner that will bring together all striking competition participants as well as other visiting and local ringers to offer an ideal social forum to discuss striking, and as is traditional, the judge’s hearing.

Looking forward to it, and as a reminder please sign up as soon as possible!

Best regards,
Stuart & Kira
