  Tom Shaw, until recently bishop of the local diocese, died earlier 
today of brain cancer.  If you can see it without paying, here is the

   I suspect either or both of our bell-containing churches would be 
appreciative if we were to ring something in his memory.  I can be at 
Old North on Sunday (not at the Advent) if something is organized on 
short notice and I'd be useful.
