Graduation Party! Birthday Party! This SUNDAY, June 14th

   I am having a party to celebrate the fact that, last Friday, I
graduated from college!  For those of you not up to date on the reason
I've been a bit scarce, the college is UMass Boston, the degree is in
Computer Science.  I graduated from high school a mere 37 years ago.

   In addition, Ken Olum and Peg Primak, (and Mish Madsen, in
absentia) are celebrating birthdays this weekend.    June 14th is a
popular date in local events, and friends who have birthdays or
graduations of their own on or about this time should tell us and
we'll put your name on a cake, too!

   When:  The party will be on Sunday, June 14th, from 2PM until
midnight or so.
   Where:  Andy, Cally & Elaine's house
                 22 Creighton Ave
                 Foxborough, MA 02035

  Activities:  making fun of me, playing board games, parlor
games, and generally hanging out.

Good things to bring:
     1) Games (We have lots, but bring any special favorites)
     2) friends and family, even ones we haven't met yet
     3) job offers for CS grads.
     4) small Boats, bathing suits, towels.  We have a canoe.

If you can't make it in the afternoon, come for the evening. If
you can't stay in the evening, come for just the afternoon. Or
come and stay all day!

There will be snacks around all day, some of them healthy.  There
will be a cookout about 6:30, or chili if lots of rain is predicted.
And cake, there will be cake. And ice cream.

Let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.

We'd like to have a rough idea how many people to expect, so please
send email back letting us know if you plan to come. But if you don't
RSVP, and you can make it after all, please come anyway!

Directions:

By public transportation:

Commuter rail trains leave South Station at 1:05, 02:25, 04:40, 06:45 and 
08:45.

Get off at Sharon. Give us a call at (508)543-8773 and let us know which 
train
you're taking, and we'll meet you at Sharon Station.

By car:

Get on Route 95 South, either by going South on 128 to exit 12 or South on 
93
to exit 1.

(If you're coming down 95 (that is, 128) from the pike (I-90), in order
to stay on 95: Just before exit 13 (University Ave) you will have to
keep right to get onto the exit side of some Jersey barriers.  That
will enable you to take exit 12, 95 South, toward Providence.)

Take exit 8, "Sharon/Mechanic Street/Foxboro"

At the end of the exit ramp, turn right, towards Foxboro.

In a mile and a half, there is a traffic light, and a large church on the
left. Turn right at the light, onto Chestnut Street.

In about half a mile, you see a road sign that looks like this:

Take the very sharp right indicated by the sign onto Kersey Street.

Take Kersey street to the end (about 1/2 mile).

Stop and watch for small children playing in the street at this corner.

Turn right on Creighton Avenue.

We're at 22 Creighton Avenue, the fifth house on the left. It's a dark 
brown
wood house, and all you see from the street is a garage with a little
balcony.
