Hi Bruce & Eileen and Porter:
I am shocked and saddened to advise you that Derek Sawyer passed away in his sleep last night. No information is available yet as to the cause. Arrangements have not yet been made but I will keep you informed. The funeral will take place at the Cathedral but we have no date at this point. Ringing is, of course, a given.
Please feel free to pass on the information to whomever in our ringing circles together with further information as it becomes available.
