Thanks Laura. For anyone who uses a calculator, 1 cwt is equals 50.8 kilos. Typing 'cwt to kg' into Google's Chrome browser will pop up a calculator to see what size bell the athletes are throwing around!

The gold winner in their category was Rizki Juniansyah from Indonesia. His heaviest lift was 199kg. Still short of 4 cwt, but not a bad bell size.
