Following on from Kat's email, I made a video (which youtube has categorized as a short. Is this google trying to displace tiktok?)
It starts from the door. During tours, the TV monitor is in front of the light bulb over the clock, attached to the upright. Julius came up to show us how to swing it away so that the rope of the 6 doesn't get caught. It has its own wire running from the stairs. The 2-drawer file cabinet has been moved near to the electrical outlet, to power the AC, which is sitting on the file cabinet. The AC is making the background noise in the video. The boxes are now in the empty space created by removing the TV table. The two white stools are in the space under the stairs, and it has a new curtain. All the stuff previously there is now in the half-bath off of the archive room, along with the brooms and radiator which had previously been moved into that tiny room. The two black IKEA cabinets are against the wall on the sanctuary side. The mirror is hanging above it*. Our stuff is inside the cabinets. On top of the cabinets are photos for the tour groups to see. The rope box is sort of against the blackboard, but the blackboard is still usable. The small white stepladder is tucked behind the rope box. The benches and coat pegs are as they have been.
* I saw a mirror very much like it yesterday in one of the buildings at the Minuteman NHP, so I guess that counts as a suitable colonial-era reproduction.
