best guess on end time for the wreath laying is 1215. I hope we can have docents flick lights. Failing that a ringer with a cell phone at the memorial might be appropriate as a signal to start.
We also want to have a bell rung up beforehand if possible?
The church are aware that practice this Saturday is cancelled for the Smith meeting.

I think some tolling following the wreath-laying ceremony on Sunday is definitely appropriate, for both the Memorial Day weekend and the events in Texas. We can adjust if we hear from the church about a different time they’d like us to toll for the occasion.
Separately, did we need to warn the church there would not be practice tomorrow due to the holiday/area meeting? Not sure we need to ping them, but it’s something you might mention if you’ve been in touch with them.

Hi all,
There's been no clear lead on when we should toll for the Texas shooting
victims. I might suggest first thing in service ringing this Sunday, one
blow per victim, as the time when most folks will be listening? Any other
bids?
