MIT Museum

265 Massachusetts Avenue

Harvard Physics Professor, Paul Horowitz, along with fellow Harvard Professor, Richard Wrangham, will be the guest lecturers at the MIT Museum’s Life in the Universe discussion series on Tuesday November 29th from 6:00-7:30pm.  Below is a brief synopsis of the lecture.

Finding Intelligence

The Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) has been controversial but had yielded an intellectual inquiry into the evolution of intelligence on earth, as well as in outer space.  Harvard Professors Richard Wrangham and Paul Horowitz have worked in different fields to unlock the mysteries of what it means to be human, and to have “intelligence” that we might recognize in other beings.
