To all the faculty members,

In case you are not aware, today NASA will be holding a press conference 
at 12:30pm EST to discuss "an exceptional object in our cosmic 
neighborhood" that was found with Chandra X-ray observatory.  This may 
be related to last week's news about giant energetic bubbles found in 
our Galaxy

This press conference will be streamed online by NASA.  The blurb about

This is truly amazing and I do encourage you all to watch it!  The term 
"exceptional object" is not used lightly!
