The gravitational interactions of the Higgs boson

Xavier Calmet
Sussex

Abstract:

In this talk I describe the first ever bound on the Higgs boson non-minimal coupling to the Ricci scalar. This non-minimal coupling is important if the Higgs boson also plays the role of the inflaton. I review potential issues with the unitarity of the Higgs inflation model and describe how these problems can be solved.
